Scholarships and Awards
As part of a SFMM initiative to create significant long-term financial support for those future students requiring financial assistance, two new permanent endowments have been created.
With the generous assistance of government funding matching schemes, the total amount now sitting in the three endowments (Patricia Rolston, Noreen & Phil Nimmons, Madeleine & Ed Bickert) presently sits at $190,000.
There is, however, one full scholarship awarded for the 2010/2011 school year and that is to Victor Vrankulj, a bass player who came through the well regarded Hamilton All-Star Jazz Band program.
