- Holding music degrees from universities in his native Germany and Canada, Marcel is a highly regarded classical performer and educator with a broad range of experience.

Darcy Hepner – Saxophone
- Performing artist with BB King, Aretha Franklin, Sergio Mendes and Henry Mancini
- Toured internationally with Blood Sweat and Tears, Buster Poindexter and Artie Shaw
- Founding Department Head of the Selkirk College Music Program in Nelson, BC
Mike Malone – Trumpet, Flugelhorn
- Recording artist and composer with Nimmons ‘N’ Nine Plus Six, the Alex Dean Quintet, Ranee Lee
- Improvisation workshop leader at York University
Jamshed Turel – Violin, Piano
- Jamshed joined the faculty in September of 2011.
- Born in Mumbai, India and graduating from Indiana University in the USA, Jamshed went on to be concertmaster of the Terre Haute Symphony and then NYC’s Ensemble du Monde.
- He has performed as a featured violin soloist with orchestras across North America, Europe and Asia.
